Warhammer 40,000

My collection

All right here’s my first topical post, I had seen some people in school talking about Warhammer 40,000 for some time. So I said I might want to get into this. A friend said that he had a used Necron race (an ancient race whose soles are held captive their spiritual over lords) that he could sell to me to get started. So I went to one of their houses and played a game with the Necron race and was walked through basically the whole game. At this house this guy had set up a massive battle field, which I was told that it was set up as a cityscape because it had a couple levels and buildings for warriors to move through. So afterwards I bought the set for $50 dollars. I looked up the price of the pieces before hand and saw that this collection was worth much more. They told me that I was going to replace someone who they used to play four player games with. Basically you buy these unconstructed figures, glue them together, and then paint them. Warhammer 40K is a turn-based and point-based game and you are require you buy a codex to understand each race. Anyways I have to say that it’s pretty cool and that I’m planning to get much deeper into it. Also I’m planning on making a stop motion video using these characters, so you can plan to see that on the video’s section of my site in the next few months.
