Ah yes. back to the time of Golden Eye for the N64, possibly the pest first person shooter ever made. I look at this funny video awhile back; the video takes a look at what this game would look like if it took place in real life. Although they made some mistakes(there was no auto aim in Golden Eye), the video is still quite funny, and offers many jokes that only a player of the game would understand.

Tuesday, May 29th, 2007Final Smash!
Tuesday, May 29th, 2007
A new item appeared on the Smash Bros. DOJO Site called Final Smash.
The item appears to give the character who obtains it a final Smash, or a character specific finishing move.

The DOJO give the following description:
The Final Smash is a secret skill that can be performed but once…and only after obtaining an item called the Smash Ball, which is a precious item, indeed.
The basic gist of it? I suppose you could say it’s kind of like a powerful and personalized hammer. (Or maybe not…)
You can look forward to experiencing the glowing personality behind each of the many Final Smashes!
One can only guess what each charicters special Final Smash move will be. Bowser turning into Giga Bowser? Who knows.
Mario Party 8 today!
Tuesday, May 29th, 2007
Mario Party 8 comes out today. I’ve heard that it’s not great, but I’m still going to get it. Are any of you planing to get it? Here’s Nintendo’s press release:
DID YOU KNOW? NINTENDO’S MARIO PARTY 8 BRINGS THE CARNIVAL TO TOWN
May 29, 2007Nintendo is bringing the carnival to town, and this time the party is going to get players up and moving. Mario Party® 8 is the first Mario Party game for Wii™ from Nintendo, and the first in the series to incorporate motion controls.
In this carnival-themed excursion, players might use the Wii Remote™ to punch the air to chip away at a statue, point it at the screen to shoot at targets or balance it like a tightrope walker’s pole. The amazing functions of the Wii Remote add a new level of hilarious competition. This new Mario Party installment includes new boards, characters, moves and minigames.
Since the original Mario Party debuted in 1999 on Nintendo® 64, the franchise has been a perpetual fan favorite, selling nearly 6.5 million in the United States alone. It’s the video game version of a board game, where each player takes a turn moving spaces. Then everyone competes in a fast-paced minigame at the end of the round. Its controls are fun and easy enough that every member of the family can join in. Mario Party 8 lets players get into the action like never before, and is a great follow-up for gamers and families who had fun competing in Wii Sports™.
Mario Party 8, Rated E for Everyone, launches May 29. For more information about Mario Party 8, please visit www.MarioParty.com.
Tamagotchi: Party On!
Tuesday, May 29th, 2007
This game comes out today. As of right now I have no plans on buying the game, although I do eventually plan to get my hands on It. Don’t expect a review anytime soon thou. My first guess was that this was a title Mixed with a bunch on mini-games tha would only feel like a tech-demo, Much like Wario Ware: Smooth Moves. I had no Idea what this game is, so i looked at the GameStop description:
Tamagotchi: Party On! is a 3D party game based on the super popular Tamagotchi franchise. Jump in solo or with up to 3 of your friends to join the exciting race to become the most popular Tamagotchi on Tamagotchi Planet! Swing your Wii Remote and turn the whole planet into your playing board! The players can choose their favorite Tamagotchis and engage in a hilarious campaign run to be the next president of Tamagotchi Planet. Be happy! Be popular! Be president!
“Tamagotchi, what is that?” I asked. So I went to Wikipedia and got the following description:
The Tamagotchi (たまごっち) is a handheld digital pet created in 1996 by Aki Maita and sold by Bandai. The Tamagotchi is housed in a small and simple egg-shaped computer. Three buttons (A, B, and C) allow the user to select and perform an activity, including

All right I remember seeing these in school, I had something similar to these, It was called Pokémon Pikachu, thats right I used a Pedometer.
This game counted ever “step you made will holding it, crediting its user with “watts,” which are a currency used to buy Pikachu presents. As the player grows closer to Pikachu, more activities become available. Pokémon Pikachu 2 GS featured an infrared port for interacting with Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal via the Mystery Gift option. This would have been a great help to my physical well-being, if it would not been for the fact that i found out that putting the counter on top of my running washer or dryer racked up watts much quicker than I ever could.
Wow, I’m going really off topic. Anyways, there has been two games involving Tamagotchis on the Game Boy, and two games for the Nintendo DS, only one of each platform actually reached the United States. I have never actually seen these Nintendo-liscened games face to face. The sales of these games will probably be solely based on the sales to hard core fans of the series(could you Imagen). This game will most likely be a dud and not have any strong play-value, but then again “who knows?”.
