ubi

Apparently Ubisoft’s CEO, Yves Guillemot, and Ubisoft’s European Head, Alain Corre, have abmittedd that they rushed their titles, other than Rayman Raving Rabbids and Red Steel, to the market.

After the leading German news magazine Spiegel interviewed the two, the magazine claimed that Ubisoft wanted to be first to capitalize on Wii and in its haste to release product it sacrificed the quality of the titles.

Ubisoft is said to have learned from its great mistakes and is now promising that the quality of its it’s future projects for the Wii will be significantly better than it’s previous titles.

Nintendo Keeps Changing Their Wii-motes

Wednesday, May 30th, 2007

changing wiimotes

The picture you are looking at is my second(top), third(middle), and fourth(bottom) Wii remote. Nintendo keeps adding more info on the surface of new Wii remotes. Why is all that unnecessary, I like my controllers to look clean and slick, and that won’t happen when there is a bunch of numbers and symbols on the side of the remote.

Inside the third Wii remote has a Nintendo logo engraved below the battery and a sticker with the characters “A1GF110″. On the forth remote it’s reversed with a Nintendo sticker and the characters “A1GF110″ engraved. The reason for Nintendo having to have there logo inside the remote is because the only other Nintendo logo on the Wii-mote is on the battery cover witch are being replaced by third parties.

Any who, it doesn’t bother me that much, but I’m sure it bother some people so why Nintendo, why not just add the patton number on the inside of the remote?

Elecom’s TV-Saving Accessory

Wednesday, May 30th, 2007

Elecomwiiaccess

I saw this neat little Wii-mote accessory by Elecomat at Cubed3. This is pretty close to the other Wii remote accessories that are available in most American game stores, having added grip and protection to your Wii remotes, But unlike those other covers, these ones have an additional loop on the bottom of the remote for those slippery handed Wii-ers.
