Nintendo Keeps Changing Their Wii-motes

changing wiimotes

The picture you are looking at is my second(top), third(middle), and fourth(bottom) Wii remote. Nintendo keeps adding more info on the surface of new Wii remotes. Why is all that unnecessary, I like my controllers to look clean and slick, and that won’t happen when there is a bunch of numbers and symbols on the side of the remote.

Inside the third Wii remote has a Nintendo logo engraved below the battery and a sticker with the characters “A1GF110”. On the forth remote it’s reversed with a Nintendo sticker and the characters “A1GF110” engraved. The reason for Nintendo having to have there logo inside the remote is because the only other Nintendo logo on the Wii-mote is on the battery cover witch are being replaced by third parties.

Any who, it doesn’t bother me that much, but I’m sure it bother some people so why Nintendo, why not just add the patton number on the inside of the remote?

Um… have you even bothered to look at the shit thats on those remotes? Its all CE and FCC codes that Nintendo is REQUIRED to have on their remotes.

Look at it in a positive light.. on the 3rd remote shown in the middle line.. the FCC code is POO-WC45

    hehe POO on your Wii

other than that… who gives a f*ck.. really?

  2. Kuefler says:

Well, first off Poo, that’s funny,

Second, the FC ID number is also placed below the batteries on all Wii remotes. The second placement of the FC ID number is completely unnecessary( well at least as I know the Law).

Finally, I live in America I don’t need the CE marking, I guess it’s required in Europe, but not in America, I guess if they are from the same line of production it would be alright, which they pretty much are. But the fact is the FC ID number dose not have the same requirements: 5 mm in hight, indelible, and on an external surface if possible. The Wii remote with only the FC ID code on the surface was not needed, So why did they do it, if it blemishes the beautiful Wii-mote?
