Mario Party 8 Recalled Before Sales

Just recently Nintendo recalled Mario Party 8 for the Wii. According to Nintendo, “Unfortunately [they] have discovered that a small number of games contain the wrong version of the disk due to an assembly error.” A lot of people are saying things like there’s something bad on it or a dramatic difference, but in reality is probably just a version with a small little difference to the code than that of the version they desired. I mean it’s probably not something big, Super Smash Bros. Melee had nearly 10 different disc images released in America alone.

$499 PS3 is Temporary

According to IGN, the $499 60GB PS3 talked about at E3 will only be available until those sold.

“The 60GB PS3 will be available in North America for $499 until supplies of that unit are depleted,” Seybold said. “We have ample inventory to meet the immediate needs of consumers in this territory for several months to come. We won’t be making any further announcements regarding our PS3 model hardware strategy in North America until the 60GB model is exhausted and market conditions are evaluated.”

According to Hudson Entertainment’s Virtual Console website, Silent Debuggers will be available for the Virtual Console next Monday.

Nitrobike Exclusively On the Wii

Ubisoft, one of the world’s largest video game publishers, announced it will release Nitrobike™ exclusively for the Wii™ home video game system from Nintendo.

Developed by Left Field Productions, the creators of the classic Excitebike® 64 for the Nintendo® 64, Nitrobike will be published and distributed by Ubisoft for Holiday 2007.Players will navigate rocket-propelled motorcycles in this arcade-style game. Players can choose to race against the clock or against worthy opponents in Nitrobike’s exciting multiplayer game mode and unique online mode.
