What would a game like Super Smash Bros. Brawl be like if it was released on one of Sony’s systems, having characters from Sony of the Playstation one, Playstation two, and the Playstation three, brawling to the death. Well IGN asked the question, and created an answer. Below is a list of characters that the IGN PlayStation Team created with their respective Sony Skill (which, I guess, is the Sony equivalent with the smash attack).
- Kratos of God of War (Slice and Dice)
- Sweet Tooth of Twisted Metal (Fender Bender)
- Ratchet and Clank (RYNO V)
- PaRappa the Rapper (Mic Meltdown)
- Nariko of Heavenly Sword
- Jak and Daxter Blinding Sword Light (Ottsel Smother)
- Wander of Shadow of the Colossus (Weak Spot Stab)
- Sly Cooper (Crooked Cane Neckbreaker)
- Liquid’s Hand of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (Revolver Blast)
- Patapons (Fever Fury)
What iconic Sony characters would you want to see duke it out with each other?

Konami, the publishers of the MGS series have confirmed that Metal Gear Solid for the PS1, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Substances will be coming back to stores in one cheap, convenient box. This box, called “MGS The Essential Collection” will be shipping out on March 13 of this year, and will cost you a mere $30. This is a perfect way for anyone to get ready for Metal Gear Solid 4, exclusive to the PS3. $10 for three of arguably the best stealth/action games around? I think it’s a fair deal. If you thought there was nothing bad to say about this, well, there is. MGS3 Substances will include the better camera angle, but will not include online nor any of the extra features that were included in disk two in the regular game. Quite disappointing, but that should not stop you from picking up this fantastic collection.

That’s right, I’m holding a good old fashion “Jack Thompson Hate Speech Contest”. I want to hear what you think of Jack Thompson. What would you like to be done to him.
I have yet to make up a prize for the winner, but I can promise you “props” beyond your wildest dreams. So go ahead, and let the hate flow through you. The winner will be decided by who can depict Jack Thompson in the most vile way!

I’m planning on doing a Podcast in the near future. I’m trying to get other blogs to join the PodCast. What do I hope to be the podcast topic of discussion? The gaming industry, Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, upcoming games and basically anything Gaming.
I’ll probably do the legs of the work, or hire out the work. Since I don’t plan on having all of us actually come to the same place, I plan to connect everyone with VOIP, voice chat, or traditional phone lines. have more than one person running your blog, that’s fine, the more the better. If you own a blog, please E-mail me at RLK89@RLK89.com, or better yet, call me at 1-586-212-2999.

I’m currently learning Japanese. I need articles, pictures, and what have you, to translate for experience. If you have anything you want translated that’s video game related please send them to me. The easiest way to summit them is posting them as a comment, and if you have anything specifically you want out of the translation, such as a an answer to the question please post that along with the comment.
- I prefer small things.(short translations)
- I’ll try to translate all types of Japanese writing. (Kana, Kanji, Rōmaji)
- Make Sure it’s video game related.

Do video games have a hold on you? Do you play compulsively? Have you isolated yourself from family, friends, or social interaction. Do you feel better betting a boss than achieving something in real life? Gaming has you under it influence. Do games change the way Americans think? The way the world thinks? Gaming has the world under it’s influence.
